The 2nd Annual Juried Botanical Art Exhibition by the Botanical Artists of Canada takes place October 27 to November 7, 2010 at the Todmorden Mills Papermill Gallery. A few of my works will be included, such as this recent watercolor painting of a Red Trillium:
In the non-juried section of the show, I will also be showing this painting of dried beech leaves, which like to remain on the tree into the spring of each year. When the sun hits them, they really stand out in the otherwise leaf-less forest. I saw these in a park near Grand Rapids, Michigan last March.
