Over the last couple months I’ve been adding some original artwork to my website shop, located here. These aren’t new works; it’s rare that I use traditional media from start to finish these days. I find digital illustration to be much more easily revised and it’s also easier on my body (in terms of ergonomics) and my eyes (I can zoom in!). Earlier in my career, however, I worked primarily with colored pencils, gouache paint, and watercolor. If you’re interested in owning or gifting some detailed nature art, please take a look.

Recent additions to the shop include more of my numerous fish illustrations, both freshwater and marine, such as a brown trout and a threadfin butterflyfish:

The Threadfin butterflyfish is one of several marine animals I painted for Sport Diver magazine. From that series, I’ve also added a seahorse, a jellyfish, and this colorful coral reef inhabitant:

Years ago I created many illustrations for the Smithsonian National Zoological Park’s interpretive signs. I’ve added some of those paintings to the shop, such as these four butterflies on butterfly bush and this Arizona lowland leopard frog:

There are currently over 60 original works of art available in a wide range of sizes and subjects, some framed and some unframed. Shipping is free to most addresses in Canada and the United States.

I’ll continue to add more original artwork in the months to come. If you see something you like in my portfolio that’s not in my shop, feel free to inquire. I have many original drawings and paintings in storage that I haven’t yet had a chance to add to my shop.

I would welcome your comments about this Post
