I love butterflies, so I was so pleased when asked to create this painting of four butterflies on Butterfly bush for the Smithsonian National Zoological Park’s butterfly garden exhibit. The three different species (listed above) are common in North America, and I delight in seeing them in my own garden.
*Because I really like this painting, I’ve exhibited it a couple times, and consequently the frame is not in perfect condition, with minor marks in the two side rails that you can see in one of the photos. Personally, I would have no qualms displaying it as is, but the price for this item is discounted to account for the frame flaws.
