This Northern copperhead original artwork is archivally matted and framed with regular plexiglass in a pale wood frame that has a slight pink cast.

This painting shows the head of a Northern copperhead snake, with mouth open and fangs visible. I created it for a book about venomous snakes—hence the emphasis on the business end of the snake. The species is found across the eastern United States.
