This Anthozoans original artwork is archivally matted and framed with regular plexiglass in a black wood frame.
It was fun to explore the different colors and shapes of corals when I illustrated these for Grzimek’s Animal Life Encyclopedia, 2nd edition. Anthozoa is a group of corals that includes sea anemones, stony corals, soft corals, and sea pens. The paintings really stand out against a black background with a black mat in a black frame.
